In this short video, Professor Noel Clarke defines non-metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC) and how to identify these patients for treatment. Professor Clarke also discusses the role of the multidisciplinary team in managing these patients and the crucial role of the urologist.

Professor Clarke has been a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Salford Royal and The Christie since 1993 and has an international reputation for his expertise in the treatment of bladder, prostate, renal and testis cancer and in the management of complex pelvic and retroperitoneal tumours. He is joint Principal Investigator for the STAMPEDE study, the world’s largest prostate cancer trial. Professor Clarke advises various organisations, including NHS England, the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) and Cancer Research UK. In 2018, Professor Clarke was awarded the prestigious St Peter's Medal by BAUS for his sustained contributions to the advancement of urology.
